walking with a little poetic licence

Time it turned, though the corner wasnt there
Runners followed circles until running out of air
Lovers broke vows that didnt exist
and the walkers kept on walking through the mist

Time came to an end, though never had beginning
Runners caught up breath, jumped in, took up swimming
Lovers heard the call of a mournful seal-d note
and the walkers walked on into the smoke

Time'sand fell down, though it never could fall up
Runners reached the beach on the bottom of the cup
Lovers turned to hate in the face of one another
and the walkers kept on walking under cover

Time stood still, though they never saw it move
Runners faired rough as they ran into smooth
Lovers fell silent to find themselves alone
and the walkers kept on walking toward home

No-time like the present, that past and future knew
Runners stopped the cogs that changed the view
Lovers left the garden to run wild with sun n rain
and the walkers kept on walking there and back again

Time waits for no man in the middle of the night
and the runners never ran out of its sight
lovers never loved beneath the midday sun
and the walk it never ended as it never had begun.

tears upon stone
hard
melting
waterfall
tumbling
steps
climbed
painfully
crumbling
tears upon stone
pleasure
coursing
laughing
mocking
ceaseless
angry
torrents
dropping
tears upon stone
silence
sounding
shattering
rebounding
drawing
together
falling
seabound
forever.
