Slugs Ugs ;-)

 

Slugs hide in daylight under stones,

afraid that butterflies might see,

how very ugly slugs can be.

 

Late at night, the sludgy slime

leaves trails as they crawl,

that shine beneath the morning light, 

so slug can hide no more. 

 

But butterflies do not care, to seek out slimy slugs.

Nor look for beauty by its face,

but only by its love.

 

So slug really need not hide its ugly face away,

It is the trail of ugly lies that shines beneath the day.
